Mexem is the South African arm of Interactive Brokers LLC.  Interactive Brokers (IB) is listed on the Nasdaq (symbol: IBKR).  It is one of the largest online brokers in the world, and known worldwide for the lowest brokerage rates in the industry.  I first opened an account at IB in 1998 and have been with them ever since.

Mexem is 50% owned by Interactive Brokers, and have their SA office in Sandton.
